Paid Try Out Teaching Internship

Our paid internships are aimed at people with the potential to teach Maths, Science, French and Computing.  It doesn’t matter if your degree is not in these subjects, but if you have an A Level in them, or if your degree has a significant element of statistics, science, number work or gaming you could be eligible.

This opportunity is funded by the DfE and may not be available every year.  For years where it is funded, you will be paid £425 per week during your internship, and you will have the opportunity to work alongside teaching staff and pupils in our school.  Your internship will put you in the driving seat to make an informed decision as to whether or not teaching may or may not be the career for you.  There is no commitment to train to teach following the internship, this is merely an opportunity to try it out for yourself.
